LEONARDO PEÑA
Architect OAQ & President
Member of the Ordre des architectes du Québec since 2013, Leonardo has over 20 years of experience in architecture and project management in Canada and abroad. As part of large architectural firms and organizations such as Defence Construction Canada (DCC), Office municipal d’habitation de Montréal (OMHM) and Neuf Architectes among others, Leonardo acquired rigorous project management skills, invaluable for handling large scale complex projects. As Director of Major Works for the DCC, Leonardo managed over $150M in construction and professional services contracts, overseeing construction processes from start to finish. He has managed numerous major renovation projects in Montreal’s low-income housing projects, and contributed to various institutional projects for Collège Lionel-Groulx, John Abbott College and Anna-Laberge Hospital.
As an architect and director for such important organizations, Leonardo gained invaluable expertise in managing teams, programs, significant budgets and various project types and sizes. In addition, Mr. Peña solved countless situations facing contractual, technical or human problems involving his team, the client or other stakeholders, making his expertise invaluable in this market and very difficult to find, as he operates with the mindset of both an architect and a director.
